Koramic Construction Chemicals Inc. began its operations in Turkey in 1998 under the name Eczacıbaşı-Koramic Construction Chemicals Inc., as a 50-50 joint venture between Koramic Building Products S.A., a Belgium-based company, and the Eczacıbaşı Group.
In June 2011, following a mutual agreement, Koramic Group acquired 100% of the company's shares, and the company continued its operations under the new trade name, Koramic Construction Chemicals Industry and Trade Inc.
In 2019, Koramic Group decided to continue its journey with a local partner and signed a partnership agreement with Tekkon Engineering Construction Trade and Industry Inc., a subsidiary of Tekkon Group. With its extensive know-how in the international marketing of construction chemicals, Tekkon Engineering brought a fresh perspective and new targets to the company.
Koramic operates two production facilities located in the Bozüyük and Tarsus Organized Industrial Zones, with a total area of approximately 30,000 m² and an annual production capacity of 200,000 tons.
Koramic offers co-branded products developed with Turkey’s leading ceramic manufacturers, as well as Cermix, one of Europe’s leading construction chemicals brands, to the construction sector in Turkey and neighboring countries.
